Cupra Tavascan to Be Built in a New Factory in China

Equipped with a dynamic DCC Sport chassis, sports suspension and progressive steering, the Cupra Tavascan also has optional performance tires mounted on 21-inch alloy wheels.
The top model comes with two engines, delivering a total output of 250 kW (340 hp) and four-wheel drive, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, making it the fastest sprinter among electric cars in the MEB family.

A rear-wheel drive variant is also available with an output of 210 kW (280 hp) prioritizing range, boasting a driving range of up to 547 kilometers.
Measuring 4.65 meters in length, with a wheelbase of 2.76 meters and a height of 1.6 meters, the Cupra Tavascan offers spacious passenger compartments and a luggage compartment that holds 540 liters.
The car also boasts a unique and different interior design, with a sculpted center console that ties in with the instrument panel, and sporty bucket seats in various color options.

The car's 15-inch touchscreen features a newly designed interface, and a sound system from Sennheiser with 12 speakers.
The Cupra Tavascan will be built at a brand new factory in Anhui, China, with deliveries set to start in 2024.
The goal is to sell 70,000 cars in the first year.
No Swedish prices have yet been communicated.
