Mercedes-Benz has launched the revised GLS variant after the GLE SUV & Coupé facelift, albeit with a slight delay. The updated GLS, referred to as the "Mopf" variant, boasts new paintwork, interior colors, and trim parts. Under the hood, the engine range has been electrified using 48-volt technology. The refreshed GLS variant will be available in dealerships by the end of October 2023, while it will be launched in the USA as early as mid-September....

The GLS has been updated with a more distinct radiator grille featuring four slats as part of the facelift. The bumper is now more visually prominent and integrates side air inlet grilles with a high-gloss black frame. The standard optical underguard has also undergone a redesign. However, no changes were made to the front lights, with the focus only being on changing the rear light graphics. Additionally, a new 20-inch light-alloy wheel with a multi-spoke design in high-sheen Himalayan grey has been added to the range.
