Tesla Opens The Largest Fast Charging Station In Sweden
Tesla, the American electric vehicle and clean energy company, has inaugurated its largest charging station in Sweden and the third largest by European standards....

The Mantorp Supercharger station features 40 fast chargers of the V3 type that can offer up to 250 kW of charging power at the site.

The station is located along the E4 at the height of Mantorp, more precisely in the shopping area Depot Mantorp, and is open to all electric cars starting from the day of its opening.

With the opening of the Mantorp Supercharger station, Tesla now offers a total of 946 chargers spread over 71 stations throughout Sweden.

The company plans to continue expanding during 2023, building larger stations as part of its strategy and following the development and spread of electric cars.

When Tesla started building stations in 2012, they had an average of four chargers per station; today, the average is 12 chargers.

All stations that Tesla opened in Sweden in 2022 had between 12 and 28 chargers, according to a press release from Tesla.

The company's commitment to building larger stations reflects its dedication to providing reliable and efficient charging solutions for electric vehicle owners across the country.

Continued growth is a key part of Tesla's strategy, and the company is building more Tesla Centers with sales and service to meet the demand for its own growing sales of electric cars in Sweden.

This quarter, Tesla set a record in Sweden, and it aims to keep up with the market's demand for sustainable transportation solutions.

In addition to the Mantorp Supercharger station, Tesla is also planning to open two new Service Centers in Sweden.

The company will open a Service Center in Örebro during the spring or summer and another one in Jönköping towards the end of the year.

These new Service Centers will provide Tesla owners with access to a range of services, including maintenance and repairs, and will help to support the growing number of electric vehicles on Swedish roads.

The expansion of Tesla's charging infrastructure and the company's commitment to building larger stations is a sign of the growing importance of electric vehicles in Sweden and across Europe.

With the increasing popularity of electric cars, reliable and efficient charging infrastructure is becoming more and more important, and Tesla is at the forefront of this movement.

As the company continues to expand its network of charging stations and service centers, it is helping to drive the transition to sustainable transportation in Sweden and beyond.
