Peugeot is moving steadily on the road to electrification in order to achieve its bold goals:
- 2023: every model in the Peugeot range will have an electrified version
- 2025: Peugeot will have an electric version for every model
- 2030: 100% of Peugeot models sold in Europe will be 100% electric
Peugeot's approach to electrification is called the e-Lion Project.

The e-Lion Project is the brand's central philosophy in order to respond to the needs of a constantly changing world. The e-Lion Project is not just about electrification, it is a holistic plan, a 360 degree approach based on the 5 E's.
Peugeot will introduce 5 new electric models in the next two years: the e-308, e-308 SW (first electric SW in Europe), e-408, e-3008 and e-5008.
The electric 308 and 308 SW will be powered by an all-new electric motor with an output of 115 kW (156 hp), with a range of over 400 km (WLTP cycle). This offering is a no-compromise answer, with class-leading performance and an average energy consumption of 12.7 kWh.

Peugeot introduces new hybrid technology with MHEV 48v which will be carried by the 208, 2008, 308, 3008, 5008 and 408. The Peugeot Hybrid 48V system consists of a new generation PureTech 100hp or 136hp petrol engine, which is combined with an unprecedented 6-speed electric drive dual clutch transmission (E-DCS6) incorporating an electric motor (21 kW).
Thanks to a battery that is charged while driving, this technology offers increased torque at low revs and a 15% reduction in fuel consumption (from 126g CO2/km in the 3008).In urban driving, a C-Class SUV equipped with the HYBRID system can thus operate more than 50% of the time in 100% zero electricity emissions. It also allows you to drive in zero emission mode in urban use.
